WILAF.io is delighted to announce that Jimmy Wayne Garrett, an electrifying performer and award-winning songwriter from the Ozark Mountains, will join the musical lineup for "The Sound of Sertainty."

About Jimmy Wayne Garrett:
Jimmy Wayne Garrett (JWG) brings a soulful blend of blues, folk, and rock to the stage, captivating audiences with his storytelling lyrics and dynamic guitar solos. Born in Northwest Arkansas, JWG’s musical journey began early, mastering multiple instruments before finding his calling with the guitar at age 14. His career has since flourished, from leading bands with high-energy performances reminiscent of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmy Page to delivering poignant solo acoustic sets that echo Tyler Childers and Howlin’ Wolf.
Garrett’s accolades include winning the Ozark Blues Society Blues Challenge in 2014 with the West Street Blues Band and again in 2015 as a solo artist, advancing to the International Blues Challenge in both 2015 and 2016. His 2017 live album, Confession Blues , recorded at The Auditorium in Eureka Springs, AR, was considered for Best Self-Produced Blues Album. His latest release, Town on the Mountain (2020), recorded in Nashville at The Bomb Shelter, showcases his versatility with collaborators Melissa Carper and Rebecca Patek, earning airplay on WMOT Roots Radio.
